The truth is, it’s far more affordable than going through separation or divorce!
You've invested a lot in your relationship, and it can be painful to see it falter. When a relationship is at risk, the emotional toll is significant. Watching love fade is hard, and letting go of shared dreams and hopes can be incredibly difficult.
Next, let's discuss the financial cost—this can be overwhelming! The average cost of a wedding is $30,000 or more, while the average cost of a divorce is $17,000 without children and about $26,000 with children.
Investing in saving your relationship can be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. Most couples spend between $1,000 and $3,000 on couples counseling, a true bargain compared to the cost of separation or divorce.

Modern couples therapy works for about 75% of couples. Those who struggle often do so due to abusive relationships, where therapy is ineffective until the abuse stops. Your success in therapy largely depends on your willingness to change.
If you focus more on being "right" than on being happy, you'll likely have a tough time. Effective couples therapy requires readiness to change, self-honesty, and openness to new approaches.

I accept many common insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross/Shield, Medicare, United Health Care, and others.
Please note that most insurance companies do not cover the full cost of couples therapy. As a result, you should expect to pay between $75 and $100 per session for the portion that is not covered. During your initial consultation call, I will be happy to inform you of your exact cost per session, ensuring there are no surprises.

I can only work with a limited number of couples and a few individuals at a time. Sometimes, that means I have to start a waiting list, but if there's an opening, I’d love to fit you quickly.
If my schedule is full, I'm more than happy to recommend some fantastic colleagues who can help you out.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to check my availability—I’m here to help!

Couples counseling sessions usually run for about 80 minutes. Research shows that this gives enough time to really dive into the issues that need addressing.
-
Couples therapy usually involves anywhere from 12 to 25 sessions, but it really depends on what the couple needs and their goals for the relationship.
-
In the first session, I'll get to know you and hear about what you and your partner are dealing with. After that, we’ll focus on holding yourselves accountable between sessions, boosting communication, and building back the friendship and trust in your relationship.
